For the diagnosis of Cystic Fibrosis. Also used to monitor response to therapy.

Sweat Chloride interpretation:
<40 mmol/L: is normal and there is a low probability of CF.
40-60 mmol/L: is intermediate and is suggestive but not diagnostic of CF.
>60 mmol/l: is abnormal and supports the diagnosis of CF.
