Phosphate (Spot Urine)


General
  Clinical Use: Used to monitor phosphate elimination by the kidneys.
Recommend measuring renal phosphate threshold (TmP/GFR) in preference to urine phosphate/creatinine ratio when assessing disorders of phosphate metabolism.
  Availability: Samples are tested routinely during the testing laboratory's hours of operation.
