Collection Instructions:
|
If sequential cell counts are required to exclude subarachnoid haemorrhage (SAH) collect minimum volume 0.3ml (or 6 drops) in EACH numbered tube.
Store sample chilled if delivery will be delayed >1 hour. Do not refrigerate samples requesting amoebic meningitis.
Indicate specimen type, any specific organism investigation required and any relevant clinical history on request form. |
