General
  Clinical Use: Detection and quantitation of CMV DNA for monitoring in immunocompromised patients.

  Availability: Samples are batched and tested 3 times a week.

Collection Requirements
  Container: EDTA with gel-PPT (PEARL),  
  Sample Type: See container
  Minimum Collection Volume: 2mL
  Collection Instructions: Dedicated sample required.
If sample will not reach laboratory within 24 hours of collection, it must be centrifuged and separated.
