ENA Antibody


General
  Clinical Use: Antibodies to extractable nuclear antigens (ENA) are relevant to the assessment of patients with suspected systemic autoimmune disorders including systemic lupus erythematosus, Sjogren's syndrome, limited and diffuse systemic sclerosis, some forms of idiopathic inflammatory myositis and mixed connective tissue disease.
Samples are first tested by screening ELISA assay. Subsequent characterisation by line immunoassay is performed for samples with a positive screen result.
  Availability: Samples are batched and tested once a week.
