Bartonella henselae Serology


General
  Clinical Use: Diagnostic testing for Bartonella henselae infection. A Bartonella henselae IgG indirect fluorescent antibody test (IFA) is performed and reported as a titre. Titres may be low early in infection; acute and convalescent sera may be required to confirm recent infection by demonstrating a significant increase in IFA titre.
  Availability: Samples are tested four times a week.
