Epstein-Barr Virus Serology


General
  Clinical Use: Diagnostic testing for Epstein-Barr virus (EBV). EBV anti-viral capsid antigen (VCA) IgG and EBV anti-viral capsid antigen (VCA) IgM will be performed on all requests. Depending on these results and clinical history, anti-EBV nuclear antigen (EBNA) IgG and heterophile antibody may also be performed.
  Availability: Samples are tested Monday-Friday.
