Toxoplasma gondii PCR


General
  Clinical Use: Adjunctive diagnostic testing for Toxoplasma gondii infection (toxoplasmosis). Serology is also recommended.
Suitable specimens are blood, CSF, vitreous fluid. Testing can also be performed on amniotic fluid or products of conception.
  Availability: Testing is performed Monday to Saturday, with results usually available within 48-72h of receipt by the testing lab.
