Strongyloides Serology


General
  Clinical Use: Screening and adjunctive diagnostic testing for Strongyloides infection. A qualitative Strongyloides stercoralis IgG enzyme immunoassay is performed. Detection of IgG suggests Strongyloides infection at some time. Parasite examination of up to 3 faeces samples is recommended for diagnosis of acute Strongyloides infection.
  Availability: Samples are batched and tested once a week.
