Clinical Use:

Adjunctive diagnostic testing for Mycobacterium tuberculosis complex (including M. bovis and BCG).
Suitable specimens are lower respiratory tract specimens (e.g. sputum, BAL), pleural fluid, tissue biopsies, CSF. Culture is also recommended. |

Availability:

Testing is performed Monday to Saturday, with results usually available within 48-72h of receipt by the testing lab. |
