Neonatal Group and Direct Antiglobulin Test


General
  Clinical Use: For neonates <4 months old: Assisting in the investigation, diagnosis and management of HDN, and identifying RhD Negative mothers of RhD Positive babies who may require prophylactic RhD Immunoglobulin.
Neonates requiring testing for the transfusion of blood and blood products (see Group and Screen).
  Availability: Samples are tested routinely during the testing laboratory's hours of operation.
