For identification and speciation of microfilariae. This test reviews a wet prep, thin and thick films films microscopically for microfilariae.
Microfilariae may only be seen in the blood during the day or night depending on the species. This may necessitate repeated blood samples.
Please note that Filaria serology is also available. |
