Synacthen Stimulation Test with 17OH Progesterone


General
  Clinical Use: Used to assess adrenal response to synthetic ACTH (Synacthen) to screen for adrenal disorders such as CAH.
Cortisol,17OH-progesterone and 21-Deoxycortisol are measured at baseline, 30mins and 60 mins post Synacthen.
  Availability: Samples are tested routinely during the testing laboratory's hours of operation.
