HCG (Tumour Marker)


General
  Clinical Use: A quantitative hCG test may be used to diagnose trophoblastic disease or germ cell tumours of the testes or ovary. It may also be used at regular intervals to monitor the effectiveness for these conditions and to detect tumour recurrence.
  Availability: Samples are tested routinely during the testing laboratory's hours of operation.
