Clinical Use:
|
This test has been specifically designed for uveal melanomas to detect losses on chromosome 3 and losses or gains on chromosomes 1, 6 and 8 that are commonly found in this cancer type. In combination with clinical and pathological information, the test can be used for prognostic purposes and is used to predict uveal melanomas with low and high metastatic potential. |
