Clinical Use:

Specimens will be referred to the Victorian Infectious Diseases Reference Laboratory (VIDRL) for hepatitis D viral load monitoring on request, provided the patient is known to have hepatitis B. Specimens are only referred at most quarterly, unless by special arrangement with a Clinical Microbiologist. |
