Anti-MOG Antibody (CSF)


General
  Clinical Use: May be investigated when clinical and imaging features are suggestive of Myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein antibody-associated disease (MOGAD).
A CSF sample must be accompanied by a serum sample collected at the same time or within one week of the CSF collection.
  Availability: Samples are batched and tested once a month.

  Container: CSF Tube 1 (CSF1),   and,   Serum Sep. Tube-SST (GOLD),  
  Sample Type: CSF & Serum
  Minimum Collection Volume:
  Collection Instructions: CSF to be tested for MOG antibody must be accompanied by a paired/matching serum.
The serum sample may collected at the same time or within one week of the CSF collection.

  Processing Instructions: Centrifuge, separate and freeze serum sample.
Freeze CSF sample.
  Minimum Assay Volume: 100uL (Serum); 250uL (CSF)
