Clinical Use:

Adjunctive diagnostic testing for Acanthamoeba infection. Culture is also recommended. Suitable specimens are CSF and corneal scrape tissue; a dry swab of an eye lesion is also acceptable. |

Testing is performed Monday to Saturday, with results usually available within 48-72h of receipt by the testing lab. Contact the lab if urgent testing is required. |
