Titre


General
  Clinical Use: Red cell antibody titration is used during pregnancy to monitor clinically significant alloantibodies with the potential to cause haemolytic disease of the fetus or newborn (HDFN).
For patients with anti-K, the partner's K and k phenotype should be determined and if K+ referral to a specialist is recommended at any titre.
Red cell antibody titration may be used prior to stem cell or solid organ transplantation for patients or donors with red cell specific antibodies.
If Blood group Anti-A or Anti-B antibody titre is requested - use test TAB.
  Availability: Samples are tested routinely during the testing laboratory's hours of operation.
