Calcium Creatinine Clearance Ratio (24hr Urine & Serum)


General
  Clinical Use: This test is used to help differentiate familial hypocalciuric hypercalcaemia (FHH) from primary hyperparathyroidism.
  Availability: Samples are tested routinely during the testing laboratory's hours of operation.

  Container: Serum Sep. Tube-SST (GOLD),   and,   UR24 Sulphamic Acid (UR24SULP),

  Collection Instructions: Paired blood and 24 hour urine samples are required for this test.
Collect blood sample ideally during the 24 hour urine collection period but blood samples taken up to 24 hours before or after urine collection are acceptable.
