Anti-GMCSF Antibody (BAL)


General
  Clinical Use: Neutralising IgG autoantibodies against GM-CSF can be seen in patients with pulmonary alveolar proteinosis.
Rarely, they can be found in otherwise immunocompetent patients with severe infections caused by intracellular organisms, such as cryptococcus, nocardia, aspergillus and non-tuberculous mycobacteria.
