Fat Soluble Vitamins


General
  Clinical Use: Fat soluble vitamins are vitamins A, D, E and K. They are present in foods containing fats. The body absorbs these vitamins as it does dietary fats. They do not dissolve in water.
Please note: Vitamin K is a referred test and should only be ordered if specifically requested. For standard requests order VTA, VTE and VTD only.
  Availability: Vitamin D is tested routinely during the testing laboratory's hours of operation.
Samples for Vitamin A/E are batched and tested weekly.
