DOAC Stop Lupus Anticoagulant


General
  Clinical Use: DOAC Stop removes the interference of Direct Oral Anticoagulant (DOAC) from Lupus anticoagulant testing.
DOAC Stop cannot be ordered without an accompanying Lupus Anticoagulant test.
  Availability: As required.
This test should only be requested by a Haematologist.
Please contact testing laboratory for urgent requests.

  Container: Sodium Citrate-3.2% (BLUE),

  Collection Instructions: Please note the anticoagulant on the request form.
If sample will not reach laboratory within 4 hours of collection, it must be double centrifuged, separated and frozen.

  Minimum Assay Volume:
  Stability: 4 hours ambient; 3 months frozen
  Transport Instructions (to testing laboratory): Send whole sample ambient within 4 hours of collection.
Send separated sample frozen on dry ice.
