HLA Typing is performed for Solid Organ Transplant potential recipients and donors in order to investigate histocompatibility to identify the best donor for a patient requiring transplantation for the treatment of end stage organ failure. |

EDTA sample can be used but requires consultation with the testing laboratory. |
