Factor VIII Inhibitor Assay


General
  Clinical Use: Inhibitors of FVIII occur as complications of treatment in patients with classical Haemophilia A and can occur in patients previously regarded as haemostatically normal. The reported incidence of inhibitors of FVIII:C varies between 5 and 20% of patients with haemophilia and these cases present some of the most serious and challenging problems associated with the treatment of haemorrhagic disorders.
