Elevated IgE levels are found in atopic allergic conditions such as eczema, asthma and allergic rhinoconjunctivitis. Elevated IgE is part of the diagnostic criteria for allergic bronchopulmonary aspergillosis (ABPA). Note, an elevated IgE is not diagnostic for allergic disease and normal levels do not exclude allergic disease. |
