Clinical Use:
|
Detection of platelet antibodies may assist in the diagnosis of autoimmune platelet disorders. It also enables the provision of compatible platelets for thrombocytopenic patients.
For investigation of Neonatal Alloimmune Thrombocytopaenia (NAIT) please contact the testing laboratory. |

Availability:

Direct Testing is performed Monday-Friday (excluding public holidays).
Indirect Testing is performed twice a week.
Please contact testing laboratory for urgent requests. |
