  Clinical Use: Antimitochrondrial antibodies are found in autoimmne liver disease. Its main association is with Primary Bilary Cholangitis (PBC)for which more specfic testing (AMC-M2) on positive samples can confirm diagnosis, increasing levels of clinical significance.
