Clinical Use:

Antibody against the non-collagenous portion of Type 4 collagen which is detected in classical untreated Goodpasture's syndrome. May also be found in patients with systemic vasculitis and rapidly progressive glomerulonephritis. The concentration of the anti-GBM antibody may also be used to monitor therapy response. |
