Beta-Trace protein (BTP) is a low molecular weight glycoprotein for the determination of Beta Trace Protein in human body fluids to detect the presence of CSF. The early diagnosis of fistulas leaking CSF is of great importance as they may lead to bacterial meningitis, which is a life threatening disease. |
