Striational Antibody


General
  Clinical Use: Striational antibodies are found in 90% of patients with both myasthenia gravis and thymoma and are present in only a subset of patients with myasthenia gravis, but without thymoma. Elevated values can also be found in patients with rheumatoid arthritis treated with penicillamine. Striational Antibodies are also Paraneoplastic.
  Availability: Samples are batched and tested once a fortnight.
